Karma Construction Group has been building in the Washington, DC region since 2012. Our primary market is the DMV — Washington, DC, suburban Maryland, and Northern Virginia — where we run design-build projects from home additions and whole-home renovations to custom homes. We also serve the Raleigh/Triangle area of North Carolina for roofing and construction work.

Washington, DC

DC work is rowhouse and historic-home work: additions and pop-ups on Federal and Victorian rowhouses, whole-home renovations, kitchen and bath remodels, and roofing. We navigate DOB permitting, historic review (including the Old Georgetown Board where it applies), and the realities of building on tight urban lots.

Serving all four quadrants of the District, including Capitol Hill, Georgetown, Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, Brookland, NoMa, U Street, and The Wharf.

Maryland — Montgomery & Prince George’s Counties

In suburban Maryland we build home additions, second-story pop-tops, in-law suites, whole-home renovations, and custom homes, and we handle Montgomery County DPS and Prince George’s County permitting as part of every design-build contract.

Serving Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac, Rockville, Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, Takoma Park, and the rest of Montgomery County; and Fort Washington, Bowie, Hyattsville, College Park, Upper Marlboro, and the rest of Prince George’s County.

Our Virginia work centers on Arlington County, the City of Alexandria, and Fairfax County: rear additions and bump-outs, second-story additions, whole-home renovations, and custom home building. We work inside Permit Arlington, Fairfax County’s PLUS portal, and Alexandria’s permitting systems regularly.
